Kat Griffith

Anna Kathryn Griffith is the fourth child and only daughter of Beth and Kim Griffith. She has often been called a dirty hippie, mostly because of her
left-leaning politics, but also because of her tremendous love for reggae and steve miller band. A "mother nature" Halloween costume may also have contributed her reputation. However don't be fooled by her freewheeling hippie exterior, she does a mean southern VA accent (blame her mom), truly appreciates Tim McGraw's Something Like That, and before going vegetarian enjoyed her fried chicken.  This upcoming year she will be helping teach a social justice class of Franklin High School and serving on the Environmental Sustainability Committee.  She is also starting up a STAND (Students Taking Action Now Darfur) club with Sarah Flocken and
hopefully will be volunteering with the Obama campaign as well. Oh also don't call her Anna. Ever. Kathryn or Kat is good.

Kyle Herrera

Kyle is a Gemini and a Sophomore from Pasadena, California. He graduated valedictorian from his high school in Arcadia and was voted most likely to succeed in the yearbook shortly after being a winning contestant on the game show Lingo. Though he has done background work for several films and television shows, as a failed actor, he has settled on making coffee for a living. His enjoyment of reading and his fascination with language lead him to double major in Literature and Group Language. Kyle is the tallest member of Zeta ever and is currently the only member to double as a resident advisor on campus. He also highly enjoys and recommends Frosted Strawberry Pop-Tarts!

Alexis Huff

Alexis Huff Rocks Way Hard. She also enjoys things that are yellow, working too hard, making jokes and dancing. She is a junior with aspirations to grandeur, but loves being involved on campus and meeting new people, for the moment.

Zac Martin

Born and raised in Gary, Indiana/Chicago, Illinois
Fanatical supporter of the one and only Chicago Cubs
Moved to Athens, Greece
When he's not in school he lives in India. Right now in Chennai (Madras), India, but most likely soon to be Delhi, India
Geology major, class of 2010

Erica Boudette

Erica “Buddha/Ebou/Booby” Boudette loves pandas, rainbows, rugby and her “puff”.  Her favorite pastime is sleeping and her favorite food is pasta with soy sauce.  Mmmmm…

She is currently a 7th year Junior at Occidental College, and is hoping to graduate before our current first year class.  Go Erica!!!

Sandy Runyan

Sandra (Sandy) Runyan is a senior Politics major haling from Los Gatos California. A transfer to Oxy in 2006 she narrowly escaped a culinary career as a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America (aka the CIA). Now pondering her choice of a career in Politics she wonders why she left all the money and glamour behind. Besides having a strong revulsion to all things cooking she is engrossed by shiny metal objects and all things relating to fiber and fiber arts. We just don’t understand.

Lara Bache

Lara is a junior from Santa Fe, New Mexico who has been going through green chili withdrawals perpetually since coming to OXY.  A Critical Theory and Social Justice major (potentially), her activities include choreographing for Dance Production, writing poetry, singing in the shower, QSA, collecting music, taking lots of pictures, hanging out in Brandon's room, giving head massages, contemplating enlightenment, Zeta of course, and, as of recently, attempting to play ultimate frisbee. She enjoys long rambling conversations, cheesecake, and trees.

Karla Garcia

Karla Garcia is a junior from the Bay Area, more specifically San Rafael. She is a tutor at Eagle Rock High School through the Gear Up program here at Oxy. A big fan of mint chocolate chip ice cream, she has earned a prestigious position as scooper at the local Baskin Robins. When not working, she likes to take the metro and cruise around the L.A. area. She plans to major in psychobiology and is looking forward for another great year studying, dancing, eating, cheering and procrastinating.

Ryan Serrano

Ryan is most famous for his ability to eat taco truck on almost every night of the week. If you speak with Ryan and realize that he is hard to understand, it is becuase he lost a bet freshman year and has to keep a dozen marbles in his mouth for the duration of his stay at the college, a stunt that has led to the nickname "Mumbly." On the weekdays if he's not in the library, you can find him in either the library or the library. On the weekends you can find him at Zeta impressing the ladies with his uncanny chugging ability.

Alex Ochoa

alex ochoa Alex “Studmuffin” Ochoa was born in Ballertown, USA, and was named Prom King at three different high schools before he entered eighth grade. Once in high school, he lettered in fourteen varsity sports and was offered free rides to Princeton, Duke, and the White House, but he decided instead to pursue his life-long ambition of majoring in psychology and playing football and rugby for Occidental College. Alex has eight hands, which is why he was named Rugby Player of the Year from 1972-2043. His hands enabled him to once save six babies from six burning buildings, rescue a kitty-cat from a tree and make out with a girl, all at once.

brett hendersonBrett Henderson

Brett was large, even as a child. He was born a startling 40 lbs, 3 oz, and continued growing exponentially from there. Now the size of a small automobile, Mr. Henderson enjoys eating entire farm animals in single sittings and destroying Japanese cities in his spare time. Mr. Henderson also plays football and rugby for Occidental College. He has hands the size of frying pans and smells of pine. When asked why he joined ZETA as an honorary member, Mr. Henderson replied "crabcakes."

Michaela Lassig

She is excited for her second year on Orientation Team this year, and she is looking forward to another amazing year at Oxy!

Margot Siegle

margot

Margot Seigle is a Senior UEP major.  She grew up in a little suburb outside of Chicago called Dundee and went to a public math and science boarding school for high school (yes, they really do exist) which hopefully prepared her well to be Zeta's treasurer this upcoming semester.  This year she will be living in Zeta East (aka Papa House) with a few of Zeta's coolest members.  She loves riding her bike, skiing, eating hummus, and traveling around Latin America.  This past summer she worked as a supervisor in Honduras for Amigos de las Americas and this upcoming spring semester she will be abroad in Ecuador if all goes as planned.  Cheque.
