Andrea Savage

Andrea Savage, otherwise known as SAVAGE!!!!!, is a sophomore UEP major who loves rugby, improv harmonies, spinach, and petting moss. In past lives, she has been a hippie, a leopard, and an exclamation marks, and still carries some of her former traits today. When she grows up, Andrea hopes to become an ELD or spanish teacher and do a head stand on every continent.

Carly Phillips

Carly Phillips is a sophomore from small town Ohio. Her spirit animal is a puppy as evidenced by her big eyes, friendly demeanor, and tail. Her interests include capes, beans, and bunnies. She has no major, but hopes that Occidental reconsiders its decision to eliminate the "Dr. Seuss" major. In her free time she enjoys bananagrams and freeze tag. She is looking forward to her role as president for the coming semester, and is excited to have some more Zeta love in her life.

Zeta love,
Carly

Adalberto Rios

Adalberto is a junior from Compton, Ca. He plans to major in Politics, and maybe even double with Spanish Literature. He enjoys being active, whether it's playing football or soccer.

Vedette Philip

Vedette is a junior somewhat undecided on a major but settling between Diplomacy and World Affairs or Asian Studies. Originally from the Bronx, she has come a long way from home and hopes to go even farther come Junior semester to Japan. She loves horror movies, the evening sky (when the stars are visible), creative writing, and singing when she thinks nobody is listening. She appears relatively sweet until she opens her mouth...

Guilberto Moran

Gilberto is a senior Art History Major from the Bronx, NY. He is social chair for zeta during Spring  and Fall of '09. Some of his likes include the New York Mets, stylish hoodies/clothes in general, food (particularly of the Caribbean) and dope posters. Some of his dislikes include the Braves/Phillies, most eatable innards, and tv shows that last forever, while his favs get cancelled.

Emma La Fleur

Emma is a junior religious studies major from Tokyo, Japan! She is a dual citizen of Japan and the U.S. and is proud to be bilingual. She is tackling Chinese as her third language while surprising people by abruptly breaking into song. She enjoyed being recruitment chair for fall 2008 and is excited for more zeta fun.

Lee Richardson

Lee is a junior cognitive science major

from the bay area. She is very excited to be Zeta's treasurer and vice president in the upcoming semester. Her
favorite color is green. She likes chocolate, cats, swimming, dance parties, stuffed animals, anime, and being a Zeta. In her spare time, she plays video games, naps, reads, and plays rugby. She studied abroad in Germany over the summer, but loves Oxy and Zeta too
much to leave for a semester. She wishes cadbury mini eggs were sold all year.

Erica Nager

Erica is the quiet observer type who is surprisingly loud and obnoxious when she comes out of her shell. She loves to study anatomy/physiology and watches forensics shows with (too much?) enthusiasm. Her favorite book is "Stiff: The Curious Lives of Human Cadavers" and other books by Mary Roach. She is proud to be an athletic trainer for Oxy Athletics where she tapes ankles, ices/heats aching muscles, bandages bloody boo-boos for football players and tells jokes to athletes in the ice baths to help them forget the cold. Erica loves hugs, listening to music, watching psychological thrillers and horror flicks, visiting the zoo and wrecking houses playing "Super Chicken!" with kids she baby-sits. It is her ambition to one day try every flavor of Calypso lemonades (she collects the bottles).

Emma Keough

Emma Keough (pronounced key-o) is a Diplomacy and World Affairs (DWA) major from Boston, Massachusetts. She believes the world would be better if her favorite places (Los Angeles, Boston, New Orleans, and San Jose, Costa Rica) were only 20 minutes away from each other. It would save a lot of time and money. At Oxy Emma is involved with Rebirth Club (helping to rebuild New Orleans) and White Students for Racial Equity. Despite pretending to be busy Emma really spends most of her time eating and lying on a couch watching tv. Sad but true.

Alexander King

Alex is a senior double majoring in Diplomacy and World Affairs and Spanish. He was born and raised in Washington, DC and, in true DC style, is an absolute political junkie.  He pledged Zeta during the spring semester of his freshman year, and was the President of the fraternity for the 2008 fall semester, and is now the Greek Council Representative. Alex likes skiing, cooking, eating what he cooks and playing video-games (really dorky ones).  Alex likes beans......no, Alex LOVES beans.

Kat Griffith

Anna Kathryn Griffith is the fourth child and only daughter of Beth and Kim Griffith. She has often been called a dirty hippie, mostly because of her
left-leaning politics, but also because of her tremendous love for reggae and steve miller band. A "mother nature" Halloween costume may also have contributed her reputation. However don't be fooled by her freewheeling hippie exterior, she does a mean southern VA accent (blame her mom), truly appreciates Tim McGraw's Something Like That, and before going vegetarian enjoyed her fried chicken.  This upcoming year she will be helping teach a social justice class of Franklin High School and serving on the Environmental Sustainability Committee.  She is also starting up a STAND (Students Taking Action Now Darfur) club with Sarah Flocken and
hopefully will be volunteering with the Obama campaign as well. Oh also don't call her Anna. Ever. Kathryn or Kat is good.

Kyle Herrera

Kyle is a Gemini and a junior from Pasadena, California. He graduated valedictorian from his high school in Arcadia and was voted most likely to succeed in the yearbook shortly after being a winning contestant on the game show Lingo. Though he has done background work for several films and television shows, as a failed actor, he has settled on making coffee for a living. His enjoyment of reading and his fascination with language lead him to double major in Literature and Group Language. Kyle is the tallest member of Zeta ever. He also highly enjoys and recommends Frosted Strawberry Pop-Tarts!

Alexis Huff

Alexis Huff Rocks Way Hard. She also enjoys things that are yellow, working too hard, making jokes and dancing. She is a senior with aspirations to grandeur, but loves being involved on campus and meeting new people, for the moment.

Erica Boudette

Erica “Buddha/Ebou/Booby” Boudette loves pandas, rainbows, rugby and her “puff”.  Her favorite pastime is sleeping and her favorite food is pasta with soy sauce.  Mmmmm…

She is currently a 7th year Junior at Occidental College, and is hoping to graduate before our current first year class.  Go Erica!!!

Lara Bache

Lara is a senior from Santa Fe, New Mexico who has been going through green chili withdrawals perpetually since coming to OXY.  A Critical Theory and Social Justice major (potentially), her activities include choreographing for Dance Production, writing poetry, singing in the shower, QSA, collecting music, taking lots of pictures, hanging out in Brandon's room, giving head massages, contemplating enlightenment, Zeta of course, and, as of recently, attempting to play ultimate frisbee. She enjoys long rambling conversations, cheesecake, and trees.

Karla Garcia

Karla Garcia is a senior from the Bay Area, more specifically San Rafael. She is a tutor at Eagle Rock High School through the Gear Up program here at Oxy. A big fan of mint chocolate chip ice cream, she has earned a prestigious position as scooper at the local Baskin Robins. When not working, she likes to take the metro and cruise around the L.A. area. She plans to major in psychobiology and is looking forward for another great year studying, dancing, eating, cheering and procrastinating.

Jacob Groen

Jacob is studying music while taking classes to prepare for medical school after graduating.  He is a senior, and is currently abroad in Australia, but formerly served Zeta as Academic Chair, House Manager, and Songmaster.  He enjoys singing with Glee Club and playing piano.
