Holiday party at Rachel’s house on Saturday, December 8 at 1pm. Please RSVP to the evite.

Caroling on Saturday, December 8 in Old Pasadena from 4-6. Contact Lucy King if you haven’t already and want to go.

The annual Christmas tea hosted by the Pasadena Alumnae chapter is Thursday, December 13 from 3-5:30 for those that RSVP-ed.

Please resubmit your interest indicators to Lisa Mori before 6pm tomorrow (Monday). Also, there will probably be a meeting for class caucus next Monday, November 26.

Dodgeball is Saturday, December 1. Registration forms will be posted on the Theta website.

There will be a holiday exchange with Phi Psi on Friday, December 7. Wear an ugly holiday sweater and bring a bad gift to exchange.

The annual Christmas tea hosted by the Pasadena Alumnae chapter is Thursday, December 13 from 3-5:30. Email Anna Bush if you would like to attend.

The VP Social position on Greek Council is now open, contact Meredith Martin-Almy if you are interested in running for it.

Greek education is this Tuesday from 8-10 in Mosher 1. It is only mandatory for new members but all members are strongly encouraged to attend.

Yoga is on Wednesday from 8-9 in Thorne Lobby.

The social is this Saturday from 6-8 and you must meet at the fountain at 5:45 as Theta transportation is mandatory. Bring cash for drinks. Serious consequences for misconduct regarding alcohol. Send AnnaRose King the name and birthdate of your date by Wednesday at the latest.

The hike at Mt. Hollywood is Sunday from 11:30-2:30. Please invite any women that you would like to introduce to Theta as possible new members.

Dodgeball is Saturday, December 1.

CASA Tree-lighting is Saturday, December 1 from 5-6.

Tuesday, October 30 Trick or Treat on Greek Street from 5-7, set up begins at 4:30. Wear costumes appropriate for young kids, letters, or black & orange. Activities include pumpkin carving and face painting.

I-Week: Trip to 21 Choices at 8, meet at the fountain.

Set up for Haunted House beginning at 7:30.

Wednesday, October 31 Haunted House at the Boys and Girls Club from 5-8, set up all day.

No chapter next week due to Fall Break, have a good one!

Email Robin Hamilton if you are interested in attending pre-recruitment events with Tiffanee on Monday or Thursday evening this week, or if you know of first-years that would make great Thetas come formal recruitment.

The Haunted House at the Boys and Girls Club with Phi Psi will be Wednesday, Oct. 31 from 5-8. Contact Lucy King if you want to be involved or set up or help out in any way.

Initiation will be Thursday, November 1 from 5-9, and the Loyalty Service will be at Chapter the Sunday before.

There is a barbecue with alumnae in the works before the Homecoming game on Saturday, November 3.

Greek Week is November 4-9. Email Piper Rastello if you have ideas for the theme of a dance that Friday, and email Sarah Bagley if you have ideas for the design of Greek Week shirts to be sold at Homecoming.

Dodgeball is scheduled for Saturday, December 1.

RECRUITMENT is Tuesday, Sept. 25 from 7-7:45 (arrive at 5:30, wear nice jeans, you will receive the shirt when you arrive) and Wednesday, Sept. 26 from 6-6:45 and 7-7:45 (arrive at 4:30, wear black and white business casual with gold accent) at Weingart Patio. Email Robin Hamilton, Ally Jurkovich, and Lauren Asher if you cannot attend one of these events at the stated time. Bid Day will be Friday, Sept. 28 at 4:45, and we will meet at 4 to review the pledge service.

Our ELC, Tori, arrived today and will be visiting until September 27. Look for email from Lisa Mori for more information about activities this week, and she still needs a ride to the airport Thursday morning!

Welcome back everyone!!

RECRUITMENT workshop this Saturday from 11-2 in Fowler 207. New members should arrive at 10:30. Recruitment will be September 25th and 26th.

BILLS will be due on September 23. Changes will be made to the usage fee, however, so wait until further notice from Arianna Sharei before sending checks.

Our chapter needs an on-campus ADVISOR in order to register as a club so please email Lisa Mori if you have a suggestion.

An ELC will be visiting the week of September 24th.

SIGNATURE PHILANTHROPY “Friday Night Fever” Skate Date on Friday, April 27 from 11:30-1:30. Meet at the fountain at 11, you must use Theta’s bus to get to the event. Tickets will be $7, please start selling them to your friends and classmates. There is a prize for the Theta who sells the most tickets! NOM COM recently met and slated Meredith Martin-Almy as VPPH. Those wishing to contest the slate must contact Jennifer Root by Wednesday, April 25 at refinnej2000@aol.com or 626.374.5185.

Please ATTEND CHAPTER next week so we can have quorum to vote on the slate. Additionally, AnnaRose King was appointed Social Chair, Madolyn Hollowed was appointed Reference Chair, and Cassidy Merriam was appointed Finance Deputy.

SENIOR barbecue will be on Friday evening in Sycamore Glen, more details TBA.

ALUMNI SMALL SERVICE, Sandwiches for Smiles, will be Saturday, May 5 at 2pm. THETA THURSDAY picnic every Thursday at 11:30 by Thorne Hall. Our ELC will be attending so please come to meet her. Remember to return the last sheet of the MDC manual to Molly Burke as soon as possible.
