Spring Elections Results

Total number of students voting: 578

President: Patrick McCredie

Campus Wide Senators: Renoa Batista, Denise Loera, Sandy Runyan

Senior Senator: Alex Graves

Junior Senator: Konstantin Chaykovskiy

Sophomore Senator: Xochiltl Ramos

GA Co-Chairs: Kristin Beck, Alex Nourafshan

Honor Board Jurors: Lee Budner, Noah Goldsmith

There are open positions in all the Senate positions; a Fall Election will be held to elect these positions, First Year Senators, and 2 more Honor Board Jurors.

 

Additionally, there were two Constitutional Amendments.  Each Amendment needed at least 433 total votes for it to be valid.  2/3 (66%) of those voting had to vote in favor of the Amendment for it to pass.   

Amendment 11, which relates to changes in the number of required General Assembly meetings, received a total of 443 people voting.  341 (77%) voted in favor of passing this Amendment.

Amendment 12, which relates to the process for filling vacancies when Senators resign with less than 10 weeks remaining, received a total of 447 people voting.  331 (74%) voted in favor of passing this amendment.
