Zeta tau zeta sorority

The object of this organization  is the emulation of Occidental’s ideal of living by means of:

(a)     Individual and collective loyalty to our college in scholarship, deportment, and extra-curricular activities.

(b)     Loyalty to each other through the cultivation of friendship based on mutual helpfulness and unselfishness, realizing individual responsibility toward and cooperation with the group as the only means toward a united and effective organization.

(c)     Loyalty to Occidental, realizing that friendship limited to our own narrow social spheres is far short of completeness, and that each of our personalities has something to contribute to others.

(d)     Loyalty to ourselves, establishing our lives on such a true basis that even our unconscious acts may reflect the principles for which we are striving.
