Friday Club Meetings

3-5PM

WYSE (women and youth supporting each other)

location: luther burbank middle school

WYSE is a national group that focuses on mentoring middle school aged women growing up in at-risk areas about their sexual health, decision making, education and future as well as relationships and self image.  Using both curriculum based group activities as well as one-on-one mentoring it allows both middle school and college women the chance to learn more about themselves as leaders and members of the community, while helping each woman involved gain respect and pride for herself in a supportive safe environment.

Because we are working with minors in situations we require an intense training and application process so this program is private, but we do recruit for the next school year at the end of Spring semester and beginning of fall semester.  This is a year long commitment.
