Why did you pledge Alpha?

I pledged Alpha because of the energy and sincerity that the Alphas exuded at Rush.  My female friends have always been by my side in both the good and the bad times, and I loved the idea of joining a sisterhood of women who were united in friendship and service.  Although I never saw myself as the type of student who joins a sorority, through Alpha I have made friends that will last a lifetime and had amazing experiences that I will never forget.

Why did you pledge Alpha?

During Rush, I felt truly welcome and shared a great connection with the Alpha women.  Through my Alpha experiences I have fostered friendships that will last long after my Oxy years.  They have been my foundation; becoming a part of Alpha has been one of my best decisions at Oxy.

Why did you pledge Alpha?

I pledged Alpha because it was the type of environment I wanted to be in.  The girls are amazingly friendly and welcoming, it couldn't have been easier to pledge this house.  Alpha is a home away from home and it is all I could ask for in a community service-based organization.

Alpha has a positive presence on campus that has stayed strong since it first began in 1900.  It has a vast history that is rich in tradition and the wonderful women it draws is a testament to Alpha's positive influence.

Why did you pledge Alpha?

I pledged Alpha because the girls are so diverse and there is always someone who shares your interest.  I love that we are generally very tight with each other and there is an open environment at the house where it never feels like people are judging or criticizing.

Why did you pledge Alpha?

Alpha has become a home away from home.  It is representative of a diverse group of girls who are all unique and wonderful in their own way.  I would never have imagined that it would become such an important part of my college experience.  I am privileged to call these women my sisters!
